In one way or another you will concur with me that it happens to you to carry unnecessary extra baggage which weigh you down in the journey of life and hinder the full manifestation of your destiny in Christ.
The Bible mentions some toxic extra baggage people carry which weigh them down in the journey of life:
1/ Self-indulgence, drunkenness and the anxieties of this life.
"Be careful, or your hearts will be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness and the anxieties of life, and that day will close on you suddenly like a trap." (Luke 21:34)
2/Anxiety
"Anxiety in a person's heart weighs him down, but an encouraging word brings him joy. " (Proverbs 12:25 NET)
3/ Bitterness, anger, grudge, unforgiveness, sorrow and any negative feeling that crush a man's spirit.
"A happy heart makes the face cheerful, but heartache crushes the spirit." (Proverbs 15:13 NIV)
"The human spirit can endure in sickness, but a crushed spirit who can bear?" (Proverbs 18:14)
THE PRAYER ALTAR IS THE CURE TO HEALING HURT EMOTIONS AND FEELINGS
You may ask me "Is it possible to be free from those things?"My answer to your question is a full yes.
Let me give to you 3 biblical examples of Hannah, David and Jesus who got healed in their feelings and emotions straight at the prayer altar :
1) Hannah
Concerning Hammah, it is written in 1 Samuel 1:10 "She [was] in bitterness of soul, and prayed unto the LORD, and wept sore."
2) David
Concerning David, the Bible says in 1 Samuel 30:6 "David was greatly distressed; for the people spake of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and for his daughters: but David encouraged himself in the LORD his God."
3) Jesus
Concerning Jesus Christ, it is written in Luke 22:44 "And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground."
However, my question to you today is "Do you really want to free your mind, your feelings and your emotions from such toxicity?"
If your answer is yes, then you ought to understand that there is no other Person than Jesus Christ and no other place than the prayer altar.
Today there is an altar call from Jesus Christ to you who are weighed down: "Come unto me, all [ye] that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." (Matthew 11:28)
