TODAY IS DAY 37 JESUS CASTS DEMONS INTO PIGS
Readings : Matthew 8:28-33; Mark
5:1-20; Luke 8: 26-39
In today's miracle, the Bible mentions two men demon possessed who were untamed and untamable:
- People tried to tame them by chaining them, but they broke the chains.
- People then just avoided them since they were so dangerous.
- They lived outside the city among the tombs, a place that was ceremonially unclean for Israel, but fitting for demons.
When Jesus appears in the scene, we see those who have been untamed so far being tamed and controlled by the Power of the Son of God (Read Mark 5:6; Mark 5:7; Mark 5:10; Mark 5:13; Mark 5:15)
PRAYER GUIDELINES
No matter how untamable a situation might appear Jesus has the power to tame it as it is written in Philippians 3:21 "[JESUS] is able even to subdue all things unto himself"
POINT
1 NO STUMBLINGBLOCK ON YOUR WAY IS PERMITTED TO STAND BEFORE YOU OR TO STOP YOU
It is written in Matthew 8:28 “… No one could travel (or pass by) along
that road because the men were so dangerous…”
This text shows us clearly that those evil men
were a huge stumbling block preventing people to pass by that road.
But when they saw Jesus Christ, Mark says
that they “bowed down in front of him” (Mark 5:6)
Pharaoh was a stumbling block against Israel’s
freedom. He fell under the judgment of God and the people of Israel were
released. The Red Sea was a barrier in
the journey to the promise land. The rod stroke it and the people broke
through. The River Jordan was a barrier in the journey to the promise land. The
priests stepped on it and the people passed by.
ANY EVIL SPIRIT, ANY
MAN, ANY WOMAN, ANY SYSTEM OR ANYTHING WHO WILL DARE TO STOP YOUR JOURNEY TO
YOUR PROMISE LAND WILL BOW DOWN IN FRONT OF YOU AND GIVE WAY IN THE NAME OF
JESUS CHRIST !!!

- Joshua 1:5 There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses, [so] I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.
- Isaiah 57:14 And shall say, Cast ye up, cast ye up, prepare the way, take up the stumbling block out of the way of my people.

- What is it standing your way and preventing you from advancing in your life?

PRAYER POINT No 1
It is written in Ezekiel 29:2 Son of man, set thy face
against Pharaoh king of Egypt, and prophesy against him, and against all Egypt:
v 3
Speak, and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I [am] against thee, Pharaoh
king of Egypt, the great dragon that lieth in the midst of his rivers, which
hath said, My river [is] mine own, and I have made [it] for myself.
DECLARE "In the Name of Jesus
Christ, Pharaoh who holds back illegally my family, my wealth, my siblings, my
country, my city, I set my face against you and I prophecy against you today. Let
my family go, let my wealth go, let my siblings go, let my country go, let my
city go so that they will serve God."

It is written in Psalms 91:13 Thou shalt tread upon the
lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under
feet.
It is written in Malachi 4:3 And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be
ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do [this], saith
the LORD of hosts.
DECLARE "Let every evil power
resisting and challenging the prophetic anointing and the priesthood anointing
in me be crushed and turned to ashes under my feet In the Name of Jesus Christ!"
POINT 2:
BREAK THE SPIRIT OF BONDAGE AND THE SPIRIT OF FEAR WITH THE SPIRIT OF ADOPTION
The reason why
people could not pass by that road was because those possessed men were so
dangerous that People were afraid to get injured, wounded or killed. The weapon
of fear has therefore helped them to control that territory.
But when they saw
Jesus Christ, they could see a fearless and unafraid. They therefore recognized
that such fearless man can only be the Son of God. They cried with a loud
voice, and said, “What have we to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God?”(Matthew 829)

IT IS WRITTEN in Hebrews 2:15 [Jesus can] deliver them who
through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.

POINT 3:
JESUS HOLDS THE KEY OF DEATH AND LIFE
Jesus’ presence by
itself is heavy because he carries the weight of power, of glory, of divinity,
of dominion, of love and holiness.
His presence alone
was enough to cause disturbance in the camp of the enemy.
It is written in Mark 5:6 “When he saw Jesus afar off,
he ran and worshipped him,…”
In Matthew 8:29, they say to Jesus, “Art thou come hither to torment
us before the time? So the devils besought him, saying, If thou cast us out,
suffer us to go away into the herd of swine.”
Why did they ask permission to Jesus to go to
the herd of swine? They asked permission to Jesus Christ because they know that
JESUS IS THE ONLY ONE WHO HOLDS THE KEY OF HELL AND DEATH as written in Revelation 1:18 “I [am] he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for
evermore, Amen; and HAVE THE KEYS OF HELL AND OF DEATH.”
What does it mean that Jesus has the key? It
means that Jesus has the ability, the authority, the right and the power to open
something which is locked and to shut something which is opened.

IT IS WRITTEN in Revelation 1:18 “I [am] he that liveth, and was dead; and,
behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and HAVE THE KEYS OF HELL AND OF
DEATH.”

HAS THE KEYS OF HELL AND DEATH AND IS HOLDING IT ON MY FAVOUR. SO NO DEVIL AND NO
DEMON CAN KILL ME ! JESUS HAS THE KEYS !”

EVERY KNEE OF REBELLION, STUBBORNESS, DRUNKENNESS, UNTIMELY DEATH, DISEASE,
SICKNESS, IMMORALITY, MARITAL DISORDER, DRUG ADDICTION TO BOW TODAY AND TO
EVERY TONGUE OF ACCUSATION, OPPOSITION, GOSSIP TO CONFESS TO GOD IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST”
POINT 4:
TODAY IS THE DAY THE LORD HAS MADE TO TORMENT THE TORMENTOR
In today’s text, we see surprisingly and astonishingly
that the tormentor is begging Jesus to not be tormented.
In Mark
5:7, it is written “[He] cried with a loud voice, and said, “Jesus, … I
adjure thee by God, that thou TORMENT
ME NOT.”
What does it mean ? From
Luke 15:28, Scriptures make it clear
that “hell is a place of torment”. The devil here is simply requesting
that Jesus the holder of the key of hell and death would not send him to that
place of torment called hell because the time has not yet come.
IF THE TORMENTOR IS NOT YET READY TO GO TO HELL, WHY
ARE YOU ALLOWING HIM TO TORMENT YOUR LIFE? YOUR CHILDREN? WHY ARE YOU ALLOWING
HIM TO MAKE YOUR HOUSE AN UNINHABITABLE PLACE?
The same way Jesus took a whip and cast out those
who turned his father’s house into a den of thieves, take now authority to
torment the tormentor with the whip of the Word of God.
FAITH DECLARATION No 1
IT IS WRITTEN in Luke 19:46 “ My house is the house
of prayer: but ye have made it a den of thieves.”
DECLARE “Father, you
have ordained my house to be a house of prayer, a house of intercession, a
house of thanksgiving and a house of praise and worship, not a den of thieves,
demons and evil spirits. I pray that you confirm your Word and align my house
to this ordained design IN JESUS PRECIOUS NAME!
FAITH DECLARATION No 2
IT IS WRITTEN in Psalms 112:3 “Wealth and riches
[shall be] in his house: and his righteousness endureth for ever.”
DECLARE “Father, you
have ordained my house to be a house where dwell blessings, prosperity,
abundance and riches not a house of curse, poverty, lack or financial
misfortunes. I pray that you confirm your Word and align my house to this
ordained design IN JESUS PRECIOUS NAME!”

IT IS WRITTEN in Matthew 12:25 “Every kingdom
divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided
against itself shall not stand:
DECLARE “Father, you have ordained my house to
be a house of love, oneness, harmony, agreement and kindness not a house of
hatred, disharmony and cacophony. I pray that you confirm your Word and align
my house to this ordained design IN JESUS PRECIOUS NAME!
