40 DAYS AT JESUS' FEET DAY 22 "A DEMONIC HEALED AND TURNED INTO TO AN AMAZEMENT"

TODAY IS DAY 22 Jesus heals a blind and demonic man


Reading : Matthew 12:22-23 

22 Then was brought unto him one possessed with a devil, blind, and dumb: and he healed him, insomuch that the blind and dumb both spake and saw. 23  And all the people were amazed, and said, Is not this the son of David?

INTRODUCTION

Today's miracle mentions a man who was blind and dumb; not by birth, or through the defect of nature, or by any natural distemper that had attended him, but through the malice of Satan.

His blindness, and dumbness, were the effects of his being possessed with a devil, who had deprived him of his sight, and speech.

There is no indication how Jesus performed the healing, whether with laying on hands, or with a word or in some other way. Matthew concentrates on the fact of healing, without specification of the means. Indeed, few healings are described as briefly as this one.

POINT 1 JESUS WAS ABLE TO HEAL THE DEMON POSSESSED BECAUSE GOD HAS ANOINTED HIM. 

LET US PRAY FOR THE RELEASE OF THE ANOINTING TO HEAL AND TERMINATE ANY DEMONIC OPPRESSION AND BONDAGE.

PRAYER 1

It is written in Acts 10:38 "God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

Lord Jesus, I bring to you men and women in my family, in my neighborhood, in my community, in my city, in my country who are oppressed by the devil (sexual addiction, drug addiction, cigarette addiction, etc). Let the same flow of your anointing be available and released to do them good and heal them.

PRAYER 2

It is written in Isaiah 10:27 "It shall come to pass in that day, [that] his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.

Lord Jesus, I pray today for  myself. I struggle with this specific bondage (mention it before the Lord). It is a yoke over my neck. I pray that your anointing destroys, smites, breaks and terminates it today so that I can enjoy my freedom in you. 

POINT 2 THE AUTOMATIC RESULT OF THE HEALING WAS THAT THE MAN BECAME AN AMAZEMENT AND AN ASTONISHMENT FOR HIS GENERATION UNTIL TODAY.

LET US PRAY

It is written in Mark 7:37 "They were beyond measure astonished, saying, He hath done all things well: he maketh both the deaf to hear, and the dumb to speak."

Lord Jesus, open my ears to hear, open my eyes to see, open my mouth to speak , deliver my life from any reproach of the enemy, so that my life can be an amazement and an astonishment beyond measure both in my generation and  in generations to come.

POINT 3 THE BLINDNESS AND DUMBNESS HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH INFECTION OR ANY BIOLOGICAL VIRUS BUT WERE CAUSED BY THE DEVIL HIMSELF. ONCE THE CAUSE DETECTED AND DEALT WITH, THE MAN GOT HEALED

LET US PRAY FOR THE DISCERNING SPIRIT.

It is written in 2 Corinthians 2:11 "we are not ignorant of Satan's devices."

Father, by the power of your Word, I refuse to be ignorant and victim of the devices (manipulations) of the enemy in every area of my life. I therefore pray today for the release of the discerning spirit through the heavenly light of your Word so that I can be effective and victorious in the war against the devil and his agents.

POINT 4 THIS MIRACLE IS MADE AVAILABLE IN THE BIBLE TO CAUSE US TO BELIEVE THAT  GOD STILL WORKS MIRACLE 

It is written in Hebrews 13:8 "Jesus Christ [is] the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever."

Lord Jesus Christ, you are the unchangeable God. What you did in the Bible, you can do the same today. I therefore make supplication before your throne for this particular issue (mention it) and pray for your supernatural intervention today.
