PROPHETIC INTERCESSORY PRAYER 19.11.2016 "IT IS TIME TO THROW OFF ANY EXTRA BAGGAGE"

IT IS WRITTEN
"...Let us throw off any extra baggage [...] and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,..." (Hebrews 12:1)
From Scriptures, we understand that "extra babbage" is defined as every unnecessary weight and encumbrance that weigh us down and hinder us in the race set before us by the Lord

Why do I need to throw off extra baggage?

1/ ◄ David could not fight and overcome Goliath unless he first threw off of him Saul's armor.►
1 Samuel 17:39 And David girded his sword upon his armour, and he assayed to go; for he had not proved [it]. And David said unto Saul, I cannot go with these; for I have not proved [them]. And David put them off him.

2/ ◄Bartimeus could not run to Christ and recover his sight unless he first casts away his garment►
Mark 10:50 And he, casting away his garment, rose, and came to Jesus.
3/◄ As believers, we are in a race with a prize attached. Unless we drop all the unnecessary luggage weighing us down we cannot run and we cannot expect win the prize.►
Hebrews 12:1 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset [us], and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,

What is the extra baggage that I should drop ?

1/ ◄ Self-indulgence, drunkenness and the anxieties of this life weigh us down ►
"Be careful, or your hearts will be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness and the anxieties of life, and that day will close on you suddenly like a trap." (Luke 21:34)
2/◄ Anxiety, bitterness, anger, grudge, unforgiveness, sorrow and any negative force in the heart weigh a man down►
"Anxiety in a person's heart weighs him down, but an encouraging word brings him joy. " (Proverbs 12:25 NET)
"A happy heart makes the face cheerful, but heartache crushes the spirit." (Proverbs 15:13 NIV)
"The human spirit can endure in sickness, but a crushed spirit who can bear?" (Proverbs 18:14)

PRAISE IS THE KEY TO FREEDOM

Psalms 42:5 Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and [why] art thou disquieted in me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him [for] the help of his countenance.
Psalms 43:5 Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope in God: for I shall yet praise him, [who is] the health of my countenance, and my God.
Isaiah 61:3 To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.
