PROPHETIC INTERCESSORY PRAYER 29.10.2016 "ENGAGING THE POWER OF CONTINUITY"

The power of life is in continuity. It is critical for breathing to stop. When heart stops beating, it causes fatality. The life of body is preserved as long as breathing continues and heart continues to beat.

Whatever it may be, continuity brings out an amazing power in every area of one’s life. 

If we want the Lord to continue blessing us tirelessly and indefatigably, here are 12 things the Bible teaches we must continue doing tirelessly and indefatigably :

1) CONTINUE IN THE LORD AND HIS WORD

Acts 6:4 But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word.

John 8:31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye CONTINUE IN MY WORD, [then] are ye my disciples indeed; 

1 John 2:24 Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall CONTINUE IN THE SON, AND IN THE FATHER.

2) CONTINUE IN THE LOVE OF GOD 

John 15:9 As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: CONTINUE YE IN MY LOVE.

3) CONTINUE IN THE FAITH 

Acts 14:22 Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to CONTINUE IN THE FAITH, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God. 

Colossians 1:23 IF YE CONTINUE IN THE FAITH grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister; 

1 Timothy 2:15 Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, IF THEY CONTINUE IN FAITH and charity and holiness with sobriety.

  

4) CONTINUE WITNESSING 

Acts 26:22 Having therefore obtained help of God, I CONTINUE UNTO THIS DAY, WITNESSING both to small and great, saying none other things than those which the prophets and Moses did say should come:

5) CONTINUE IN THE GOODNESS OF GOD 

Romans 11:22 Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, IF THOU CONTINUE IN [HIS] GOODNESS: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.

6) CONTINUE IN PRAYER 

Colossians 4:2 CONTINUE IN PRAYER, and watch in the same with thanksgiving;

7) CONTINUE IN THE DOCTRINE AND APOSTOLIC TEACHINGS 

1 Timothy 4:16 Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; CONTINUE IN THEM: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee. 

2 Timothy 3:14 But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;

8) CONTINUE IN BROTHERLY LOVE 

Hebrews 13:1 Let BROTHERLY LOVE CONTINUE.

9) CONTINUE TO SEEK THE LORD 

1 Chronicles 16:11 Seek the LORD and his strength, SEEK HIS FACE CONTINUALLY.

10) CONTINUE TO PRAISE THE LORD 

Psalms 34:1 I will bless the LORD at all times: HIS PRAISE [SHALL] CONTINUALLY [BE] IN MY MOUTH. 

Hebrews 13:15 By him therefore let us OFFER THE SACRIFICE OF PRAISE TO GOD CONTINUALLY, that is, the fruit of [our] lips giving thanks to his name. 

11) CONTINUE TO HOPE

Psalms 71:14 But I WILL HOPE CONTINUALLY, and will yet praise thee more and more.

12) CONTINUE IN THE TEMPLE 

Luke 24:53 And were CONTINUALLY IN THE TEMPLE, praising and blessing God. Amen.

PRAYER

Father, my ultimate desire is that you grant me your grace for tireless, assiduous and indefatigable continuity in those 12 areas:

• Help me to continue in the lord and his word
• Help me to continue in the love of God
• Help me to continue in the faith
• Help me to continue witnessing
• Help me to continue in the goodness of god
• Help me to continue in prayer
• Help me to continue in the doctrine and apostolic teachings
• Help me to continue in brotherly love
• Help me to continue to seek the lord
• Help me to continue to praise the lord
• Help me to continue to hope
• Help me to continue in the temple
