PROPHETIC INTERCESSORY PRAYER 17.10.2016 "GIVE ME A MERRY HEART, O LORD"

IT IS WRITTEN

Proverbs 15:13 A merry heart maketh a cheerful countenance: but by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken.

WE PRAY

1)   LET US PRAY AND CAST OUT AT THE FATHER’S FEET EVERY SITUATION THAT BREAKS OUR HEART AND SPIRIT.

Father, we cast out at your feet all of our sorrow, sadness, grief and trouble (in our finances, in our relationships, in our place of work, in our health, in our emotion, in our country, in our continent,…) that break our heart and our spirit.

1 Peter 5:7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

Philippians 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

2)   LET’S PRAY THE FATHER FOR THE BAPTISM OF HEAVENLY JOY IN OUR HEART

Father, we pray that you pour your unspeakable joy in our heart today thereby causing our countenance to reflect the majesty of your glory

Proverbs 15:13 A merry heart maketh a cheerful countenance: but by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken.

Psalms 32:11 Be glad in the LORD, and rejoice, ye righteous: and shout for joy, all [ye that are] upright in heart.

Nehemiah 8:10 Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for [this] day [is] holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the LORD is your strength.

3)   LET’S PRAY THE FATHER TO HEAL OUR HEART FROM ANY WOUND THEREBY TURNING AND SHIFTING US FROM A SORROWFUL HEART TO A CHEERFUL HEART

Father, heal our heart today from any wound of the past. Help us to forgive and absolve others’ offenses. Cause our heart to be merry by the power of your Holy Spirit.

Proverbs 17:22 A merry heart doeth good [like] a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones.

Proverbs 18:14 The spirit of a man will sustain his infirmity; but a wounded spirit who can bear?

4)   LET’S PRAY THE FATHER FOR A THANKFUL HEART WHICH LEADS TO A CHEERFUL HEART

Father, I thank you for your marvelous works. Thank you for your life. Thank you for your provision. Thank you for your care. Thank you for a new day and a new week. We pray you keep our hearts always thankful.

Psalms 100:4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, [and] into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, [and] bless his name.

Colossians 3:15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.
