PROPHETIC INTERCESSORY PRAYER 06.10.2016 PRAYER TO DEAL WITH DISCOURAGEMENT

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE DISCOURAGED ?

To be discouraged is to feel less motivated, confident or optimistic.

Proverbs 12:25 “Heaviness in the heart of man maketh it stoop: but a good word maketh it glad.”

Everyone tends to feel discouraged. I say everyone including me. Those who succeed in ministry will tell you it happened to them many times 

HOW DO I KNOW I'M DISCOURAGED? HOW DO I FIGHT IT ?

# 1^st symptom When I'm discouraged, "I feel weighed down"

When I'm discouraged, I feel demotivated. I become heavy. I'm dragging my feet. There's no speed in what I used to do with speed. I become religious. I do things not because it comes from within but just to show I'm doing.

LET'S PRAY

My God my Father, in the Name of Jesus Christ, I rebuke any spirit causing me to feel demotivated, any spirit causing me to become heavy, any spirit causing me to drag my feet, any spirit causing me to lack speed in my area of endeavour ...I declare I am free now IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST !!!

# 2^nd symptom When I'm discouraged, I become nervous with or without reason. Resentful. Broken

Colossians 3:21 KJV Fathers, provoke not your children [to anger], lest they be discouraged.

LET'S PRAY

My God my Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, I rebuke any spirit causing me to be nervois, resentful and broken. I recover my joy. I recover my peace. I recover my wholeness today IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST !!!

#3^rd symptom When I'm discouraged I tend to quit, to give up. I tend to go back to the things I've vomited yesterday.

Galatians 6:9 KJV Let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. 

Proverbs 26:11 KJV As a dog returneth to his vomit, [so] a fool returneth to his folly.

LET'S PRAY

My God my Father, forgive me because I have allowed discouragement to rule over me. 

Forgive me because I have allowed the desires of the flesh overrule the desire of the Spirit. 

Forgive me because I have allowed my soul to delight in profane songs more than in spiritual songs. 

Forgive me because I have allowed my soul prefers to watch movies than to read my Bible.

Forgive me because I have allowed my soul to show no concerns for the spiritual meetings. 

Forgive me because I have allowed myself to become over-critical toward the man of God, the church, the fellowship. 

Forgive me because I have allowed myself to become hopeless.

I receive my forgiveness today IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST !!!

# 4^rh symptom When I'm discouraged I become bitter.  Life becomes tasteless. I tend to think of things that will make my life sweeter like sex, beer, bang, etc

Hebrews 12:15 KJV Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble [you], and thereby many be defiled;

LET'S PRAY

Heavenly Father, though I am dealing with disappointment and obstacles, I rest in the fact that You are still on the throne. Lead me to enter into Your rest Oh Lord and not be disillusioned by the current circumstances; through  Jesus Christ your Son our Lord, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, in Oneness and power, now and forever. 

IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST !!! Amen !!!
