15 Days Devotion - Allow Yourself to Dream | Day 1 : Dreams Of Destiny And Divine Purpose

15 Days Devotion - Allow Yourself to Dream | Day 1 : Dreams Of Destiny And Divine Purpose

Reference Verse: “And Joseph dreamed a dream, and he told it his brethren: and they hated him yet the more.” — Genesis 37:5 (KJV)

Application:

God still speaks through dreams—imparting divine direction, prophetic visions, and sacred assignments that shape your destiny. Yet too many believers have silenced their dreams, burying them beneath past wounds, ridicule, or fear of failure. Joseph refused to let fear mute his vision—even when it cost him his robe, his freedom, and nearly his life. His journey is a divine summons to unearth the dream you laid to rest in seasons of disappointment and delay.

Lesson:

When you carry a dream from God, opposition is inevitable—but never final. Joseph’s brothers despised his dream, yet they could not derail God’s plan. Their hatred was loud, but Heaven’s purpose was louder. Because Joseph held fast to what God had shown him, the dream outlived every prison, pit, and plot against him. Never allow human rejection to veto divine revelation.

Devotional Thought:

Beloved, it’s time to dig up the dreams you buried in the graveyard of discouragement. God has not forgotten the visions He whispered to your heart in the quiet hours of the night. That dream isn’t dead—it’s dormant, waiting for your faith to breathe life into it once more. You don’t need human validation to walk in heavenly assignment. To dream again isn’t arrogance—it’s an act of holy obedience.

Closing Prayer:

Father, in the mighty name of Jesus, I thank You for every dream You’ve planted in my spirit. Forgive me for the times I doubted, delayed, or dismissed what You revealed. Today, I choose to believe again. I speak resurrection over every divine vision I once abandoned. Renew my courage, silence every voice of fear, and ignite holy boldness within me. I receive grace to dream—again and again—according to Your will. Amen.
