People coming to church and being settled in the Church

People coming to church and being settled in the Church

"Lord, settle people in this Church for life — for destiny, for purpose, for eternity — in the Name of Jesus Christ!"

There was a moment when Jesus turned to His disciples and asked: "Will ye also go away?"

But Peter responded with divine clarity:

"Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life. We have believed and known that You are the Christ, the Son of the living God."  — John 6:67–69 (KJV)

That confession wasn’t just emotion — it was commitment born out of revelation. And that is what settles people in the house of God.

Four Pillars That Settle People in the Church

1. Personal Choice

Every soul has the freedom to leave — but those who are settled choose to stay.

Like Peter: "To whom shall we go?"

When you realize there’s no other name, no other voice, no other hope — you stop searching and start staying.

2. Personal Faith in the Word

Not just hearing the Word — but believing it.

Not just knowing Scripture — but trusting that it carries eternal life.

The settled soul says: "This Word changes me. This Word saves me. This Word sustains me."

3. Personal Experience (Testimony)

You don’t stay because of programs — you stay because of power.

Because you were broken — and He healed you.

You were empty — and He filled you.

You were blind — and now you see.

Your testimony anchors you in the house of God.

4. Personal Relationship with Christ

It’s not about religion — it’s about relationship.

You’re not settled by a pastor, a program, or a platform —

You’re settled by a Person: Jesus Christ.

When He calls, you answer. When He speaks, you listen. When He leads, you follow.

✅ Jesus is still the same.

✅ His voice still draws.

✅ His Word still saves.

✅ And His presence still settles souls.

The Divine Commission: I Am Sent

Before God sends a man, He first sees, hears, and feels.

- God saw the affliction of Israel.

- God heard their cry in Egypt.

- God felt their pain under Pharaoh’s yoke.

- And in response — He sent Moses.

So I declare today:

Father, You see the affliction of Your people — in Kenya and across the nations.

You hear their cry — in Kiambu, Umoja, Kahawa, Kasarani, Mombasa, Malindi, Ngumba, Highrise, Kitengela…

In Parklands, Cairo, Togo, Benin, France, Australia, Jamaica, Somalia…

You feel their sorrow. You know their distress.

And now — confirm that You have sent me as Your answer to their weeping, their oppression, their brokenness.

"God of compassion, stretch forth Your hand. Confirm our calling. Confirm our marriage to this ministry. Let Your power manifest as a sign that You have sent us!"

Pray for Open Eyes — Against Spiritual Blindness

"God opened her eyes, and she saw a well of water..."

— Genesis 21:19 (KJV)

Hagar was in the wilderness — crying, dying, hopeless.

But God heard. God saw. And then — He opened her eyes.

Yet the enemy knows this truth — so he works hard to blind.

"The god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the gospel should shine unto them."

— 2 Corinthians 4:4 (KJV)

So we pray:

Lord, break every evil covering!

Shatter every demonic blindfold!

Destroy every misrepresentation!

Let the scales fall off their eyes!

And let them see —

Not just a church —

But a well of living water.

Let them see us as the place where thirst is quenched by the Word of Life.

Open their eyes, Lord! Let them see what You have placed in this house!

Pray for Direction: Show Us the Way

"Lord, show us the way to reach the multitudes You see.

Empower us. Guide us. Send us. Gather them into Your sheepfold."

Like Jesus, who looked upon the crowd and had compassion —

We ask: Show us how to reach them — through home fellowships, social media, visitations, miracles, and bold preaching.

We pray:

- For home fellowships to grow, thrive, and multiply.

- For Facebook, WhatsApp, YouTube to explode with divine connections.

- For souls to be added daily to the Church — just as in Acts 2.

Let there be no limit to the harvest!

Pray for Fruitfulness — No More Barrenness!

God called Abraham father of many nations —

But how could he be a father of multitudes with a barren wife?

The answer? Divine intervention.

And so it is with us.

This church is not called to be few — but to be a multitude!

Not called to be small — but to be great!

"I will multiply them, and THEY SHALL NOT BE FEW; I will glorify them, and THEY SHALL NOT BE SMALL."

— Jeremiah 30:19 (KJV)

We reject spiritual barrenness.

We rise in fruitfulness.

We declare: The Word of Life Church is a house of multitudes!

✅ Confirmation: Prove Yourself, O Lord!

Have you received a promise from God?

Then stand on it — and ask Him to confirm it.

"The Lord confirms the word of His servant and performs the counsel of His messengers."

— Isaiah 44:26 (KJV)

Father, I declare:

You are not a man that You should lie, nor a son of man that You should repent.

What You have spoken — will come to pass!

My assignment is sealed in heaven — in Jesus’ Name!

For people to be settled, let the Lord do these things:

Silence every contestation

Bring deep conviction

Attract hearts supernaturally

Prove Himself through signs

Work mightily among us

Silence every mocker

Let heaven touch earth — and let no one doubt that God is here.

The Divine Drawing: How God Calls People In

"If any man thirst, let him come to Me and drink."  — John 7:37 (KJV)

People don’t come because of programs — they come because of thirst.

And Jesus said:

"No man can come to Me, except the Father draws him."  — John 6:44 (KJV)

So how does God draw?

By thirst — spiritual hunger

- By supernatural appearances — dreams, visions, miracles

By members’ invitation — one soul reaching another

By strange sounds — prophetic cries, divine disruptions

By light — people come to your light

By teaching — they come for wisdom, for truth

Willingly — drawn by love

Compelled — by the power of the Spirit

Stand and cry! Don’t sit in silence.

Like Jesus on the last day of the feast — lift your voice!

Let the cry go forth: "Come and drink!"

⚖️ Vengeance Belongs to the Lord — It Is Now!

God builds — but the enemy seeks to destroy.

But hear this:

"The hand of the Lord is upon thee…"  — Acts 13:11 (KJV)

Let the same hand that builds this church also strike every enemy of its growth.

We declare:

 Expose every hidden enemy!

Blow them away with the wind of God’s Spirit!

- Let the hammer of God break every opposition!

The same power that raises the church — judges the adversary.

Let no weapon formed against this house prosper.

Fathers: The Law of Impartation and Replication

"Where is the Lord God of Elijah?"  — 2 Kings 2:14 (KJV)

Elisha didn’t just inherit Elijah’s mantle —

He replicated his anointing.

So we declare:

Replication of grace

Replication of anointing

Replication of signs and wonders

Replication of supernatural growth

But hear this:

You only replicate what you see and hear.

Walk with the fathers. Honor the pioneers. Take up their mantle.

God is no respecter of persons — but He honors spiritual lineage.

Vision: The Church Exalted on the Mountain

"In the last days, the mountain of the Lord’s house shall be established on the top of the mountains..."

— Isaiah 2:2 (KJV)

We are not called to be ordinary —

We are called to be exalted.

We pray:

To rise higher — level upon level

To be a solution center for the world

To teach the way, show the how, reveal the manifold wisdom of God

- To carry a different spirit — like Daniel, full of insight and power

To be a city set on a hill — visible, influential, unshakable

Let the Word of Life Church be confirmed as that city — shining in darkness, drawing nations to Christ.

❤️ Welfare: Restoration for Families and Nations

Let families be restored. Let homes be healed. Let generational curses be broken.

Let the blessing of the Lord flow like rivers in dry places.

Power Tools for Growth and Impact

1. Prayer & Ministry of the Word

"We will give ourselves continually to prayer and the ministry of the Word." — Acts 6:4 (KJV)

"And the Word of God increased… and the disciples multiplied greatly." — Acts 6:7 (KJV)

2. Fire and Hammer

"Is not My Word like fire? And like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces?" — Jeremiah 23:29 (KJV)

Let the Word burn in hearts and shatter strongholds.

3. Shower of the Word

"My Word shall not return void — it shall accomplish what I please."  — Isaiah 55:11 (KJV)

Let preaching be like rain — watering the earth, bringing forth life.

4. Heart-Pricking Messages

"They were pricked in their heart…"  — Acts 2:37 (KJV)

Lord, give us messages that cut to the heart — not tickle ears.

5. Utterance in the Spirit

"Open unto us a door of utterance…"  — Colossians 4:3 (KJV)

Fill us with boldness. Let the Spirit give utterance — in preaching, prayer, prophecy, and tongues.

6. Spiritual Understanding

"Do you understand what you are reading?"  — Acts 8:30 (KJV)

Breakdown demonic confusion. Give revelation.

7. Against Distracting Spirits

"

The deputy believed, being astonished at the doctrine of the Lord."  — Acts 13:12 (KJV)

Let truth silence deception. Let clarity defeat confusion.

8. The Sword of God

"The Lord shall punish leviathan with His sore and great and strong sword."  — Isaiah 27:1 (KJV)

Loose the sword of God against every spiritual dragon, every principality, every power opposing the church.

FINAL PRAYER: Settle Us, Send Us, Sustain Us

Father, settle people in this Church — not for a season, but for a lifetime.

Draw them by Your Spirit. Bind them by Your love. Anchor them by Your truth.

Confirm Your call. Fulfill Your promise. Multiply Your people. Exalt Your name.

Let the Word of Life Church rise as a mountain — a light, a well, a solution, a city set on a hill.

In Jesus’ Name — Amen.

Let the multitudes come.

Let the settled stay.

Let the fire fall.

Let the harvest grow.

And let God be glorified forever!
