14-Day Devotional: "God Is Happy When You Prosper | Day 2 : Poverty Is Not Your Portion
Scripture : Deuteronomy 28:12 (KJV) – "The Lord shall open unto thee his good treasure… to bless all the work of thine hand."
Devotion : Poverty is a curse, not a virtue. Jesus became poor so you could be rich (2 Corinthians 8:9). Yet, some believers glorify lack, thinking it pleases God. No! God’s covenant with Abraham (Genesis 12:2-3) includes blessings—spiritual, physical, and financial.
Write this down : Money is a tool for dominion. When you prosper, you amplify God’s voice in the earth. Poverty silences your influence.
Action :
- Renounce every mindset that equates poverty with holiness.
- Claim Deuteronomy 28:13 – "I am the head, not the tail!"
- Give sacrificially—money flows toward solutions.
Prayer : Lord, break every chain of poverty in my life. I receive Your abundance to advance Your Kingdom!
