UNLOCK THE POWER WITHIN

UNLOCK THE POWER WITHIN - FROM POWER UNCONSCIOUS TO POWER CONSCIOUS

What Are We Talking About Today?

The topic of today is: "Unlock the Power — From Power Unconscious to Power Conscious."

I have a problem with Christianity. I have a problem with our faith. And the problem is the gap—that is my problem.

The gap between what we see in the Word of God and what we live in our daily lives. That is my problem. That is my burden.

PART 1 |   FACT 1 : ALL THE GREAT OF MEN OF GOD IN THE BIBLE OF EXPLOIT ARE MEN LIKE YOU AND I

We see powerful men of God in the Bible—Elijah, Moses, Jesus Christ the Son of God, Paul, Joshua—all these great men of God were men of exploits.

But when I look at the Church today, I ask: What is the problem?

And I’m not just asking about others—I’m asking about myself. What is our problem?

Here’s the truth:

All the great men of God in the Bible were men like you and me. That is fact number one. I want us to underline this. Today, I want us to reflect. I want us to meditate—because the Bible talks about meditating in the Word of God.

They were men like you and I.

James 5:17 KJV

Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months.

Acts 14:15 (KJV)

And saying, Sirs, why do ye these things? We also are men of like passions with you, and preach unto you that ye should turn from these vanities unto the living God, which made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all things that are therein:

They had their shortcomings.
Elijah—imagine Elijah—ran from Jezebel. Elijah became suicidal. He even prayed, “Let me die.”

They were men like you and I.

Moses? He had a hot temper. He broke the tablets. He spoke rashly.
But they operated at a higher level of power.

So what is the problem? What is wrong with us? What is wrong with the Church?

That leads me to the second truth I want to share today:
Our weaknesses are not excuses or limits.

PART 2 | FACT 2 : YOUR WEAKNESSES ARE NOT EXCUSES OR LIMITS

We say:
“Oh, well… I have weaknesses.”
“I’m not as prayerful as Moses.”
“I’m not as powerful.”

Please.
They were men like you and I. They had flesh. They had blood.

Even Paul, the apostle, struggled. He said:
“The things I want to do, I don’t do. The things I hate, I do.”

Romans 7:15 KJV

For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I.

Romans 7:16 KJV

If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good.

So understand this:
They were men like you and I. So what is the problem?

For the purpose of our meditation today, I’ve identified three major problems:

 PART 3 | 3 PROBLEMS

Problem 1 : Power is available but ignored

Ø You don’t operate in what you don’t know.

Problem 2 : Power is available but idle

Ø You don’t benefit from what you don’t use.

Problem 3 : Power is available but inert

Ø You don’t grow in what you don’t steward.

In my quest to find the answer to “What is the problem?” I came up with these three major issues among believers—and notice, all three begin with “I”:

1. Ignorance

2. Idleness

3. Inertia

These are the three major problems the Church has.

We don’t have a problem with power.
We have a problem with the working knowledge of power.

Ephesians 3:20 KJV

Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,

I underline: the power that worketh in us.
Again: the power that worketh in us.
Again: The power that worketh.

So the question is not whether you have power or not.
I’m speaking to born-again believers.
The problem is not whether you have power.
You do have power.

Question 1 : Are you conscious of the power in you? Are you aware?

That is the first problem—ignorance.
Do you even know that you have this power?

I am amazed at how people run from one prophet to another. You hear a prophet has come to town—suddenly, everyone rushes like they’re running a race.
“My mighty, mighty, mighty, mighty, mighty of the mightiest man of God has come!”
People are rushing.

“This church? My pastor doesn’t have power. I need a ‘mightiest of the mighty’ man of God so I can get power.”

So I ask again: Are you aware?

Question 2 : Do you use the power in you?

Because if you’re not aware, you can’t use it.

Ø Before you use something, you must know you have it. If you don’t know you have it, you can’t access it.

Quetsion 3 : Are you growing it?

Because:

· If you don’t know, you are ignorant.

· If you don’t use it, it remains idle.

· If it remains idle, it will never grow.

Ø And what is the final state?
We remain powerless.

Take note :

Ø Until you move from power-unconscious to power-conscious, you will live beneath your kingdom potential.

That was a great revelation to me.
And I’ve come to understand why believers are living below their potential.

Someone says:
“I had a dream I was going back to school.”
“I saw myself in a coffin!”
“Let me go see a prophet to interpret this!”
“I don’t know what’s happening—I must have a problem.”

We hear all these demon names—teaching demonology, family line curses: “Line 1, 2, 3…”
Yes, I teach those things too.
But I’ve come to understand: We need to upgrade our teachings.

Our real problem is not demons.
Our problem is a lack of consciousness of power.

For example:

Mark 3:14 KJV

And he ordained twelve, that they should be with him, and that he might send them forth to preach,

Mark 3:15 KJV

And to have power to heal sicknesses, and to cast out devils:

So they were given that power.

Now listen, friends:

You have power to cast out devils.
This power is not only for some pastors in town.
Every believer who has received Christ as Lord and Savior has been given power to cast out devils.

Of course, I admit—those with special callings may carry a special anointing for certain types of demons, due to their ministry. But the truth remains: you have the power.

Now look at Mark 9:18:

Mark 9:18 KJV

And wheresoever he taketh him, he teareth him: and he foameth, and gnasheth with his teeth, and pineth away: and I spake to thy disciples that they should cast him out; and they could not.

So here’s the question:
How can people who carry power fail to cast out a demon?

PART 4 | Question : How can people who carry power fail to cast out the demon

Let’s Study the Root Causes

Problem 1: The Problem of Ignorance

You can’t operate in what you don’t know.

Ephesians 3:20 KJV

Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,

STUDY CASE | GIDEON

Let’s look at Gideon.
Gideon was a man of power—but he was ignorant of the power within him.

Judges 6:12 KJV

And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him, and said unto him, The LORD is with thee, thou mighty man of valour.

Judges 6:14 KJV

And the LORD looked upon him, and said, Go in this thy might, and thou shalt save Israel from the hand of the Midianites: have not I sent thee?

Clear. Clear. Clear.
God said: “You are a mighty man of valor. Go in your might.”

Now I ask you:

QUESTION : Do you know that you carry power

Do you know that you carry power?
I wish I could say: Turn to your neighbor and ask, “Do you know you carry power?”

But instead, we say:
“I don’t have a husband.”
“I don’t have a wife.”
“They haven’t paid me at work.”
“The rent is due.”
“My husband is causing trouble.”
“My wife is a problem.”
“My life, my life, my life…”

Psalms 82:5 KJV

They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course.

Why?
Because they don’t know.

Psalms 82:6 KJV

I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.

But they don’t know.BWe don’t know. We don’t understand. We have power.

PART 5 | SEVEN POWERS AVAILABLE TO YOU

Let me give you seven powers that are available. (There are many, but here are seven.)

1. The Power of the Word of God

Romans 1:16 KJV

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

The Word is power.
Do you know that the Word is power?

When Jesus faced the devil, He answered with the Word—and the devil could do nothing.

Ø How many scriptures have you written in your notebook?

Ø How many words have you received from the man of God?

Ø How many devotions have you read?
You have that Word every day.

It is power. But we are not aware.

We spend all our time on TikTok.
Do you read the Bible? The Bible is power. Are you aware?

“Oh, I went to that church. It’s leaking.”
Stop that nonsense.

2. The Power of the Holy Spirit

Acts 1:8 KJV

But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

The Holy Spirit is power.
Do you know you have the Holy Spirit? Are you aware?

3. The Power of Angels

Hebrews 1:13 KJV

But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool?

Hebrews 1:14 KJV

Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?

Do you know you have angels at your disposal? Do you know they are around you?

Remember Elisha and his servant.

The servant woke up and saw the army surrounding them—he panicked.
“Man of God, what shall we do?”

2 Kings 6:15 KJV

And when the servant of the man of God was risen early, and gone forth, behold, an host compassed the city both with horses and chariots. And his servant said unto him, Alas, my master! how shall we do?

But Elisha prayed: “Lord, open his eyes that he may see.”

2 Kings 6:16 KJV

And he answered, Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them.

And he saw: “We have more with us than against us.”
Angels were there.

2 Kings 6:17 KJV

And Elisha prayed, and said, LORD, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the LORD opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha.

I have angels in this place where I am.

4. The Power of Fellowship

Psalm 133:1 KJV

Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!

Psalms 133:2 KJV

It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron's beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments;

Psalms 133:3 KJV

As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the LORD commanded the blessing, even life for evermore.

Fellowship is power.
Coming together on Sunday, hearing the Word, fellowshipping—this is power.

“Ah, I’ll just stay where I am.”
That’s why we’re weak.

Moses was on the mountain praying. He grew tired.
Aaron and Hur came and held up his hands. That’s fellowship.

Look at believers today—always fighting. “I went to church—they served me tea!” Nonsense. Nonsense.

5. The Power of the Blood

Revelation 12:11 KJV

And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

The blood is power.
Every Sunday, we partake of the blood of Christ. Do you know it is power?

6. The Power of the Anointing

Isaiah 10:27

And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.

The anointing is power.

7. The Power of Your Tongue

Proverbs 18:21 KJV

Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.

Do you know all these things? Are you aware that you are a power carrier?

PART 6 | QUESTION : What happens when a power carrier ignores his power?

1. You live below your potential.

Gideon was threshing wheat in a winepress hiding and afraid.

Judges 6:11 KJV

And there came an angel of the LORD, and sat under an oak which was in Ophrah, that pertained unto Joash the Abiezrite: and his son Gideon threshed wheat by the winepress, to hide it from the Midianites.

But he was called to be commander-in-chief. Because he didn’t know his power, he lived beneath his calling.

I prophesy over you:

You will never live beneath your potential again.
There are teachers, workers—people in jobs they shouldn’t be in—because they don’t know their potential.
You will not stay there again, in Jesus’ name.

2. You live in fear.

Judges 6:11 KJV

And there came an angel of the LORD, and sat under an oak which was in Ophrah, that pertained unto Joash the Abiezrite: and his son Gideon threshed wheat by the winepress, to hide it from the Midianites.

When you don’t know your power, you live in fear.

3. You live in murmuring and complaining.

Judges 6:13 KJV

And Gideon said unto him, Oh my Lord, if the LORD be with us, why then is all this befallen us? and where be all his miracles which our fathers told us of, saying, Did not the LORD bring us up from Egypt? but now the LORD hath forsaken us, and delivered us into the hands of the Midianites.

Complaining is a sign of ignorance.

4. You live in low self-esteem.

God said: “You are a mighty man of valor.”
Gideon replied: “My family is poor, and I am the least in my father’s house.”

Judges 6:15 KJV

And he said unto him, Oh my Lord, wherewith shall I save Israel? behold, my family is poor in Manasseh, and I am the least in my father's house.

But God said: “Go in this your might.”

Judges 6:14 KJV

And the LORD looked upon him, and said, Go in this thy might, and thou shalt save Israel from the hand of the Midianites: have not I sent thee?

When you’re ignorant of your power, you see yourself wrongly:

“I’m poor. I’m ugly. My English is bad. I don’t write well. I live far from town. My church is small. My YouTube channel has no views.”
“Am I even called?”
“What is salvation doing for me?”
“I’d rather go drink.”

You are ignorant and you have power in you.

Say with me today:

Ø I am a mighty man. I am a mighty woman.
Say it: I am a mighty man. I am a mighty woman.

Ø I know I am a mighty man. This man sitting here—I know I am a mighty man.
Friends, you are a mighty woman. My daughter—you are a mighty woman.

God came to a man living in fear, hiding, out of place.

Don’t let the opinion of people define you.

You may be struggling, but you are a mighty man.
You may feel life isn’t what you wanted—but God sees you differently.

Sometimes we’re misled by appearances. The one you despise may be the one who will save you.

John the Baptist was a savior—but look how he lived.

I tell someone today:

What you’re going through is temporary.
Write it down:
“What I am going through is temporary. It will pass.”

Don’t underestimate what you have.
Don’t look down on yourself.
I will never look down on myself.
And I will never allow anyone to look down on me.

Romans 8:11 KJV

But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

The same Spirit that raised Christ dwells in me.

Ø So what devil can keep me in poverty? What devil can keep me in stagnation?

Ø If the devil failed to keep Jesus in the grave, he cannot keep me in the grave. He cannot keep my marriage in the grave. He cannot keep my finances in the grave.

Say with me: I have it.

That’s why Paul said: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” (Philippians 4:13)

Philippians 4:13 KJV

I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

PROBLEM 2 : IDLENESS

You don’t benefit from what you don’t use.

Ø If you’re ignorant, idleness follows. You can’t use what you don’t know.

Ø The Word you don’t put to work will never work.

Luke 8:11 KJV

Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.

If you don’t sow the seed, it produces no fruit.

We attend conferences, get books, take notes—
“Wow! Wow! Thank God!” But what do you do with it?

Matthew 25:25 KJV

And I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo, there thou hast that is thine.

Luke 5:5 KJV

And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net.

Then the miracle happened.

Luke 5:6 KJV

And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake.

- The word is a weapon, use it

What do you do with the Word you hear every day?

Ø Changing churches won’t change your life. Fix your mind.

Ø If you change churches but not your life, nothing changes.

Write this down:

Ø Changing the church does not change your life.

Ø The Word you don’t apply remains dead.

You lay hands on the sick—God heals. But you must act. You confess—God confirms. But you must speak.

PROBLEM 3 : INERTIA

You don’t grow in what you don’t steward.

You may have power, but if the enemy grows stronger and you don’t grow—you will fail.

Matthew 12:44–45:
“When the unclean spirit goes out, he finds seven others more wicked than himself. They enter, and the last state is worse than the first.”

Matthew 12:43 KJV

When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none.

Matthew 12:44 KJV

Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished.

Matthew 12:45 KJV

Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation.

Observations:

1. Not all demons respond to the same level of power.

2. There are levels of spiritual authority.

3. There are degrees of power.

4. God is the God of levels.

Demons grow stronger. So must also grow stronger others they will outsmart us.

When the disciples failed to cast out a demon, Jesus said:
“This kind goes not out but by prayer and fasting.”

Matthew 17:21 KJV

Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.

You don’t fast to cast out demons.
You fast to grow your power to handle them.

Deuteronomy 7:22 KJV

And the LORD thy God will put out those nations before thee by little and little: thou mayest not consume them at once, lest the beasts of the field increase upon thee.

Even demons can increase in power. So we pray and fast to grow.

Final Questions:

1. Are you still at the same level of power?

2. Is your faith growing? (If a small problem makes you shake, you’re not growing.)

3. Is your glory increasing?

4. Are you investing in your growth?

You cannot defeat higher-level demons with lower-level power.
Demons have levels.
You must grow.

PART 7 | WHAT TO DO | DEVELOP POWER CONSCIOUSNESS

Power consciousness is a constant awareness that you carry a supernatural ability and authority and intentionally acting, speaking and thinking from that reality everyday

Acts 19:15 KJV

And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye?

Act 19:16 KJV

And the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, and overcame them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded.

HOW TO DEVELOP POWER CONSCIOUSNESS

Be aware and conscious that:

1. Beware and conscious that the same power that raise Christ is in you

The same power that raised Christ is in you.

Romans 8:11 KJV

But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

Even if you have no food, no money—you carry power.

2. Beware and conscious that you have been given authority over all devils

You have authority over all devils.

Luke 10:19 KJV

Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

All. All. All.

3. Beware and conscious that the spirit dwells in you

The Spirit dwells in you.

Acts 1:8 KJV

But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

4. Beware and conscious that God has given you the spirit of power

God has given you the spirit of power, love, and a sound mind.

2 Timothy 1:7 KJV

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

Even in dreams—know your authority.
“If you dream you beat me, you better repent in that dream.”
Because even in dreams—you cannot beat me.

Say: I carry power.
Say it again: I carry power.
Hallelujah! I carry power.

Kasuku carries power.
Where I am, no devil, no demon can torment me.
When I enter a mat, power enters.
When I enter a plane, power enters.
When I enter my office, power enters.
When I enter the bank, power enters.

Even the way I walk, dress, think, speak—I speak from a place of power. I speak to my children from power. Hallelujah.

You will never be powerless again, in Jesus’ name.

 PART 8 | PROPHETIC PROCLAMATIONS

I proclaim that the same Spirit that raised Jesus Christ from the dead dwells in me, quickening every area of my life in Jesus’ name.

I declare I am a mighty man/woman of valor — I go in this my might and I cannot be stopped.

I proclaim I walk in constant power consciousness — aware, alert, and active in my divine authority daily.

I declare no power of the enemy can prevail against me; I tread on serpents and scorpions without fear or injury.

I proclaim every gift, ability, and anointing in me is stirred up and activated for exploits in Jesus’ name.

I declare I am not a powerless believer — I am anointed, equipped, and loaded with supernatural ability.

I proclaim the power of the Word works in me — breaking yokes, opening doors, and commanding breakthroughs.

I declare the power of the Holy Spirit upon me makes me a bold and effective witness of Christ everywhere I go.

I proclaim the blood of Jesus speaks for me, protects me, and enforces my victory daily.

I declare every demonic resistance collapses under the weight of the anointing I carry in Jesus’ name.

I proclaim that I am growing in power, in authority, and in spiritual stature day by day.

I declare my tongue is a weapon of life, breakthrough, and victory — I speak power and I see results.

I proclaim that every fear, self-doubt, and low self-esteem is replaced with divine courage and confidence.

I declare my power will never be idle, ignored, or inert — I use it daily for kingdom advancement and personal victory.

I proclaim I will operate in higher dimensions of power, wisdom, and glory from today forward, in Jesus’ name.

Amen and amen.

Ø May God help you. Listen to this teaching more than two or three times—and I see you walking in power.

Ø I see you as Gideon. What you feared yesterday, you will confront today. What defeated your parents, you will defeat.

Ø Your lifelong struggles will turn into solutions—because power is activated in you, in Jesus’ name.
